Boreham Wood Football Club has entered into a sponsorship with Winchmore Hill Under 16s to hopefully form an Elite group of players to compete in the Eastern Junior Alliance League for the 2012/2013 Season.

The aim of the partnership is to create a relationship that will enable players from Winchmore Hill, to progress into the Boreham Wood FC successful PASE Scheme Academy.

Our Elite Academy group this season, has once again enjoyed immeasurable success reaching the Conference National Cup Semi-final, and ECFA National Cup final. Along with the 1st Round proper of FA Youth Cup, while retaining the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth Corinthian League for the 6th consecutive year, winning the Brian Hitchings Cup, and becoming the SCFYL ‘Champion of Champions’.

The PASE Scheme has had players graduate from the Scheme into BWFC’s 1st team and go into the professional game. Players from our Scheme have also represented England at College and School Level, thus enabling them to earn Scholarships to United States of America.

Winchmore Hill and Boreham Wood FC will be holding open trials at Boreham Wood Football Club on Monday 23rd July 2012 at 4pm at the Clubs state of the art 3G astro. If you are interested in trialling or want to find out more information please contact Simon Blackmore on 07711994268.
