Boreham Wood Football Club have now set the first trial date for the newly reformed Elite Under 16 group to compete in the Eastern Junior Alliance League for the 2013/2014 Season.

The aim of our U16 group will be to train and develop players to then progress into Boreham Wood FC’s successful PASE Scheme Academy.

Our Elite group this season has once again enjoyed immeasurable success reaching the ECFA National Cup semi-final, along with the 1st Round proper of FA Youth Cup. They retained the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth Corinthian League for the 7th consecutive year, and are again in the running to achieve the treble after reaching the finals of the SCFYL Brian Hitchings Cup, and the SCFYL ‘Champion of Champions’.

The PASE Scheme has had players graduate from the Scheme in to BWFC’s 1st team and go on further into the professional game. Players from the Scheme have represented England at College and School Level enabling them to earn Scholarships to United States of America

Boreham Wood FC’s coaching and Elite programmes are widely recognised and has been championed by Reading FC’s Academy in agreeing a partnership that has formed close links between the two Club at Academy level, which has seen a number of successful friendly fixtures both at Meadow Park and at Readings Berkshire Training facility and also has seen a number of Boreham Wood FCs youngsters invited to Train and play with this top professional Academy
