Boreham Wood FCs community department enjoyed a week of sunshine and warm weather, for the first week of their Easter Soccer Courses and had over 60 children attend.

It was a fun filled week of football that included sessions to improve passing, dribbling, skills and shooting, as well as fun games, competitions and mini tournaments.

As an added bonus, the children also spent a day of training and matches on Boreham Woods Stadium pitch, then had first team favorite Bruno Andrade visit as a special guest coach.

The week was finished off by meeting all of Boreham Wood First Team players and ended with the course presentation, where all of the children were given a certificate of participation along with various goodies including a match day ticket for the home game on Good Friday, 14th April against play off chasing Dagenham & Redbridge.

Community Manager Ken Headington commented “Its been a busy week, but its also been lots of fun. The weather was very kind to us and the local youngsters have all had a great time I hope. We can now look forward to welcoming even more children to the soccer course next week from Monday 10th to Thursday,13th April
