Boreham Wood host high flying Dartford FC this coming Saturday, 8th October 2011 at Meadow Park, kick off 3.oopm.

Dartford will travel to Meadow Park full of confidence, sitting 2nd in the Blue Square South behind Woking by goal difference and recording a 5-0 win at home to Harrow Borough in the FA Cup at the Weekend, whereas ‘Wood’ come into the game off the back of a disapointing FA Cup defeat to Slough, yet league form has slightly picked up in recent games. ‘Wood’ have picked up 4 points from a possible 6 in the last fortnight, with a win and a draw against fancied Welling United and Chemlsford City respectively.

Dartford have started the campaign in magnificent form, playing 11, winning 8, drawing 2 and losing just 1, scoring 25 and conceding 11. ‘The Darts’ front men Charlie Sheringham and Elliott Bradbrook have formed quite a partnership, scoring 18 goals between them in all competitions.

Meanwhile, The away fixture at the Beveree Stadium between Hampton & Richmond Borough and Boreham Wood on Tuesday 6th December 2011 has now been rearranged for Saturday 15th October 2011, Kick off 3.00pm.

This fixture rearrangement is due to both Boreham Wood and Hampton’s early exits in the FA Cup. Both clubs moved quickly to secure the fixture on the date set aside for those competing in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round. Both Boreham Wood and Hampton suffered defeats to lower ranked sides, at the hands of Slough Town and Arlesey Town respectively.

Hampton currently sit in 21st place in the Blue Square South division, one place below Boreham Wood, playing 10 league games, recording one win, three draws and 6 loses, scoring 12 and conceding 21 in the process.
