Wednesday’s Football Conference Youth Alliance League fixture saw Boreham Wood Blues take apart an as yet unbeaten Woking side to storm to an emphatic 5-1 victory.

Before play Woking were nine wins in nine games having scored thirty nine goals and only conceded five all season, but Wood showed absolutely no fear as they produced their finest performance by far to date.

Leading 3-0 at the interval with goals from Fuller, Saywood and Ladipo (who got injured in the process) Wood looked determined and eager for more success.

Within 15 minutes of the re-start substitute Izukanne extended the league. Wood were resolute at the back with Wallace and Brightly Barnes defending doggedly, but Woking eventually found the back of the net.

Not happy with that the in form Marong and constant threat from Saywood combined to produce his second goal and Woods fifth

FINAL RESULT Wood Blues 5 Woking 1
