Tickets for the Boreham Woods prestigious pre-season game against an Arsenal XI will go on sale from Monday 4th July 2011.

Over the years this fixture has hosted many of Arsenals football greats, such as Tony Adams, Dennis Bergkamp, Ray Parlour, Robin Van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Antonio Reyes, Robert Pires and many more… More recently the younger generation of Arsenal stars have played at Meadow Park with a host of English, Dutch, Brazilian, French and Spanish youth internationals showing off their magnificent technical ability.

50% of gate proceeds made from the Arsenal X1 game will go to our main sponsor Cardif Pinnacle’s chosen charity… The Peace Hospice! So please come to support and watch the Boreham Wood boys and Arsenal XI, as you will also be supporting the great work The Peace Hospice does around our local community.

The Peace Hospice is based in Watford and cares for people living with a life limiting or terminal illness, supporting families from across South West Hertfordshire. They also provides inpatient care, day care, an outpatient service, a hospice at home service as well as bereavement support.

The Hospice needs to raise £3 million of charitable income this year in order to run and develop its services. All the care that the Hospice provides to its patients and their families is free. Please visit The Peace Hospice website to read more about their fantastic work, www.peacehospice.org.uk.”
