Form Guide

The Wood played out a goalless draw away to Guiseley on Tuesday, but with a host of chances saved, will feel they could have left with more.

Garrard’s side are currently sat in ninth place, just one point outside of the playoff spots.

The Wood return home on an unbeaten run of six matches in all competitions, and will be hoping to stretch that to seven.

Bromley pipped the Wood to the Conference South title in the 2014/15 campaign, and have followed a similar path since, with a 10th placed finish last season.

Managed by 46-year-old Neil Smith, Bromley sit one place ahead of Boreham Wood in the National League, in ninth.

Bromley lost 3-2 at home to Maidenhead on Tuesday, but that was their first loss in six matches and they will arrive with confidence.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“The boys are happy to return back home and the pitch is a massive factor in that. Having travelled to St Albans, Chester and Guiseley, it is nice to come back.

“I have watched Bromley against Gateshead, Woking and Maidenhead; Terry Harris went and watched them against Dover in the FA Cup.

“They have got pace, they have got a threat in forward areas and they are big and strong on set-pieces, I think that they have got quality across the board.

“I know that I say it all of the time and it must get boring, but it is about what we do and it is about how we go about our business.

“We have dissected what their strengths and weaknesses are, we have worked on a little bit of the analyst stuff this morning, and the boys understand how we are going to go about our game plan.

“For me, it is fundamentally about us, and how we go about our game.”
