Training at the ‘Boreham Wood Football Club Soccer Centre’

Welcome to the Boreham Wood Football Club Soccer Centre. A state of the art, third generation football training centre based here at Meadow Park. We provide first class training facilities to clubs from all over North London and Hertfordshire.

The facility was built in conjunction with the Football Foundation, Boreham Wood Football Club and Hertsmere Borough Council for the cost of £1.3 million pounds. It includes modern, clean changing rooms and a full size pitch that is split into three 7 a side pitches for mid-week training. The pitch itself is third generation.

Third generation is a revolutionary synthetic training surface that is the closest you will come to training on real grass. It consists of a grass like carpet that is filled with rubber and sand… you can wear your football boots and you wont get the huge friction burns you get every time you make a slide tackle on a sand based astro pitch. It’s better on your knees and ankles too… and is proven to reduce the chance of injury while training.

The facility has been open now for the past five seasons and is one of the most popular training facilities in the whole of North London. We offer value for money, being more than £30 cheaper than some of our higher profile competitors.

We’re are the chosen training centre for Watford Football Club, Arsenal Ladies, and a number of other professional clubs from all over the country, on their visits to London. As well as local senior and junior sides from all over North London and Hertfordshire.

Prices are £50 per hour peak-times and £35 per hour off-peak, for 7 a’ side hire. The pitch is available for 11 a’ side hire at weekends… the cost for a two hour booking is £125.00 and includes home, away and official changing rooms, and full floodlighting. Use of the club car park and changing rooms are also free of charge to our users.
