danny woodards

Danny joined the Wood in July 2015 with plenty of Football league experience having made over 250 appearances with spells at Exeter City, Crewe Alexandra, MK Dons, Bristol Rovers and Tranmere Rovers.

His career began in the academy Chelsea where he made over 70 appearances for the reserves, however he departed for Exeter City without making a first team appearance.

After two seasons at Exeter, he joined Crewe Alexandra for a fee reported to be £30,000. It was his versatility that persuaded Dario Gradi to sign him as he could play anywhere along the backline or in midfield.

Successful stints with MK Dons and Bristol Rovers followed before an injury hit spell with Tranmere Rovers.

Danny combines his first team footballing duties with a role in the hugely successful PASE Academy.
