Astro Pitch Hire

 

For the amateur football enthusiast the club has a newly built £1.3 million astro facility. The facility includes a state of the art third generation astro carpet. The pitch consists of 25mm plastic grass with a black rubber crumb, which gives it the look and feel of real grass. It means you can wear your boots, and the days of huge friction burns from making a slide tackle on astro turf are well and truly over!

It is available for 11 a’ side games at weekends and 7 a’ side hire every day of the week. The pitch is ideal as a winter training ground for teams and is also great for groups of friends just wanting to get on a pitch and have a kick about.

Arsenal Ladies and Watford both use the facility and the pitch has been approved for games by FIFA, UEFA, The Herts FA, The Nationwide PASE Conference and the Sub-urban league.

We are great value for money compared to the other third generation facilities in the local area at £50 per hour per pitch, we beat the nearest competitors by nearly £30.00 a session. We also do deals on 11 a' side hire. Pitch hire for two hours, including changing rooms, is £150.00. It works out at under £6 per player if both teams have substitutes.

Parking and use of our newly refurbished changing room area and bars are also free of charge to all astro pitch customers.
