Coventry City

Highly-rated young forward Michael Folivi, joined the Wood on a long-term loan in January 2018, from Watford.

A Premier League debutant at just 18-years-old, Folivi played his first game for the Hornets against league rivals Stoke City.

Described as a ‘tricky goalscorer’, the 5ft 11in forward will add further quality and depth to Luke Garrard’s squad in the race for the playoffs.

The 19-year-old was the second Premier League forward to sign for the Wood in January, with Garrard also adding AFC Bournemouth’s Joe Quigley to his ranks.

The striker is known for his goalscoring prowess, and was the Hornets’ top scorer for the title winning Under-18s in 2015/16.

He signed pro terms with Watford at just 16-years-old, in February 2015. He has since signed an extension to that deal, with Watford securing his services until 2020.

The 19-year-old spent a period on loan with then League One outfit Coventry City, at the beginning of 2017, making his debut against Scunthorpe United.

Highly rated by the Watford hierarchy, Folivi has been described as a player with the ability to win a game on his own.

A ‘fox in the box type of striker, with quick feet’, Folivi will be hoping to make a big impression on the National League.
